Miami Beach, FL – December 5, 2014 – This past friday, award-winning photographer Fabrizio Cestari, took over Miami Beach’s Sense Beach House, with works from various series including Fresh Milk, Surfism, Circus Star, Lunarium, Hot Noodles, Rock Star, Bloody Candies, Pussicats Burger and Dolores. Guests enjoyed the vivid and surreal photographs that lined the walls of the space as well as graced the intimate rooftop space. The rome-based photographer’s images have been recognized at The World Photography Awards in New York, Paris and London. Cestari’s eclectic subject matter can be explained by his inspiration from “colors, giant objects and thumbnails, the color white, the female body, dolls, pop, surrealism, photorealism, American 50’s, IX century in France, the Italian Renaissance, the Mexican mural art movement, fairytales, anecdotes, superheroes and remakes.”

To celebrate their one year anniversary, Seasalt & Pepper hosted an epic evening including interactive statue performances, live music, and crudos paired with specialty cocktails. Along to join in on the festivities was celebrity baseball player Sammy Sosa, “Rock of Ages” star Diego Boneta, and “Real Housewives of Miami” star Adriana De Moura. The anniversary also coincided with the opening preview of Modern Garden, a crudo and hot stone concept restaurant featuring the unveiling of two architectural sculptures by designer Santiago Jose Pelaez.  If the first year was any indication of what’s to come, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Seasalt & Pepper!

This year’s collaboration was with Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI), who created a hotel-wide installation entitled SCREEN PLAY: MOVING IMAGE ART that portrays the relationships between moving image and all other art mediums over six decades. Miami Beach, FL – December 17, 2014 – Miamians embraced the art of travel through culture and style on Wednesday evening with the opening of Wanderlista Miami, a concept store curated by Wanderlista founder and creative director, Andria Mitsakos. A Greek-American who has spent much of her life canvassing the globe, Mitsakos now translates her vast travel experience and connections with emerging designers, all of which have influenced her effortless sense of style that magnetizes the people around her. Wanderlista is one of the only high-end concept stores in all of Mid-Beach Miami echoing the Hotel Croydon brand and customer – the answer to an expertly-curated shopping experience. Mitsakos, along with Ocean Drive Magazine, hosted the boutique opening with local gastro fare by The Tavern and craft cocktails by Xanté. Ten percent of proceeds went to The Macricostas Pulley Foundation, a foundation based in Miami that focuses on the LGBT community to support the Florida Marriage Equality Act.
